I start with the scandal and it is a scandal at Thames Water even if the greedy trougher of an ex CEO was a bird. Sure diversity blah, blah, blah. Then it is onto a reader request on Gemfields (GEM), Predator Oil & Gas (PRD), Seed Innovations (SEED) – its own worst enemy – and finally Optibiotix (OPTI) and Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX). At least listen to what I have to say before abusing me!

SHOCKING: Thames Water bills 90 year old £212,198.85 and still will not apologise

As the photos below show, Thames Water has just sent out a bill for a whopping £212,198.85 to a ninety year old lady who is right now in a convalescent home.  These privatised utilities don’t do themselves any favours do they?

Water Regulator Ofwat boss Jonson Cox should be fired at once

Ofwat, the Water regulator, has today – very sensibly turned down a proposal by Thames Water to stiff its customers by an extra £29 a year from 2014. Well done Ofwat. But its actions of last week suggest that the Ofwat boss Jonson Cox should none the less be fired.
